The Frist Gala is an annual event which takes place at the First Art Museum in down Nashville. Every year an artist's work and achievements are highlighted through a gallery. For this project, I chose the work of author and illustrator Eric Carle. This project includes a program booklet, an invitation, an envelope and an rsvp. Best known for his children's book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," my hope for this project was to highlight the style and talent of Carle without doing the obvious approach of incorporating the "caterpillar in every design. This work, from a hierarchy standpoint, is image heavy and shows lists of text in an organized fashion.
